The outside is made of polyester, which is extremely hardwearing, flexible and fast drying. The combination of polyester on the outside and wool on the inside creates a neoprene effect. The wool lining keeps the heat in, while the polyester knit outside stops the wind from penetrating, which in turn creates a barrier to stop the heat from escaping.
